1. Introduction
The Dusun In-vehicle IoT Gateway supports two wireless protocols, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It connects to the TCAM via Wi-Fi and to IoT devices via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) to establish communication links. It collects the information uploaded by IoT devices, transmits it to the TCAM, and further sends it to the cloud. At the same time, it receives downward instructions and processes them.

As shown in Figure 1, the vehicle-mounted IoT gateway and the TCAM are connected via WiFi. The TCAM is in AP (Access Point) mode, and the vehicle-mounted IoT gateway is in STA (Station) mode.
The network configuration method is as follows:
(1) The vehicle-mounted IoT gateway enters the network configuration mode through the network configuration button. At this time, the gateway’s WiFi is set to AP mode (2.4GHz).
(2) The DHU (presumably some device) connects to the hotspot of the vehicle-mounted IoT gateway and sends the SSID and password of the TCAM’s WiFi to the gateway through an interface.
(3) The vehicle-mounted IoT gateway switches to STA mode and connects to the TCAM.
This scenario is for situations such as camping, where the user takes the gateway out of the vehicle. In this case, the gateway needs to connect to the mobile hotspot to access the Internet.

(1) The vehicle-mounted IoT gateway enters the network configuration mode by pressing the network configuration button. At this time, the gateway’s Bluetooth is turned on.
(2) The mobile phone connects to the vehicle-mounted IoT gateway via Bluetooth and sends the SSID and password of the mobile phone’s WiFi to the gateway through an interface.
(3) The vehicle-mounted IoT gateway switches to STA mode and connects to the mobile phone.
