Overview of DSBC-150/151/152 Outdoor Bluetooth Low Energy Beacon
The sub models of DSBC-150/151/152 outdoor waterproof Bluetooth LE beacons have the accelerometer and support iBeacon function. The series includes models with additional sensor capabilities: the DSBC-151-3 includes accelerometer and gyroscope support, while the DSBC-150-5 integrates an air pressure sensor. Furthermore, the DSBC-152-1 is designed to support external temperature and humidity probes. The DSBC-150-6 model can store up to 16,380 records, with flexible acquisition and storage time intervals ranging from 1000ms to 900000ms, making it ideal for long-term data collection.
The DSBC-150/151/152 outdoor BLE beacons come equipped with a built-in Power Amplifier (PA) that significantly enhances their signal transmission capabilities. This feature allows the beacons to deliver extended range and improved reliability in communication, even in challenging outdoor environments. The power amplifier boosts the signal strength, ensuring data can be transmitted over longer distances without loss of integrity, which is crucial in applications where consistent and reliable connectivity is needed across large areas. BLE Gateway Works with Outdoor Bluetooth Low Energy Beacon
When used with a Bluetooth beacon gateway, the beacons transmit their data to the gateway, which acts as an intermediary device. The gateway receives the beacon’s broadcast packets and then relays this information to the cloud using either Wi-Fi or LTE, typically at a rate of once per second. This setup enables real-time data processing and storage, making it suitable for applications that require continuous monitoring and analysis over large areas.
Mobile Phone Works with Outdoor Bluetooth Low Energy Beacon
For personal or localized applications, a mobile phone with Bluetooth functionality can directly receive the broadcasted data from the BLE beacons.
